Current Plans

These are the current plans for the Dillo project ordered by
priority. Note that a low priority doesn't necessarily mean that it
has to wait, it might just be that no one has volunteered to work on
it yet!

Highest priority
New Abstraction Layer. New image handling code. Orthogonalize the parser (leaks, XML, CSS) Parsing of empty XML tags (e.g <script/> as <script></script>).
High priority
Port to FLTK2.
- Testbed for Dw.
- Dillo's UI.
- glib based components.
- form elements.
Universal CCC (Concomitant Control Chain) idea. SSL dpi. (web page caching review, http1.1 extensions).
Medium priority
Rewrite of tables code. Support for floating objects in DwPage. Preferences dpi. Handling of configuration data. Make cookies into a dpi server. Empty cache-entries removal. Lower priority
CSS improvements merge. Parser merge or new parser. Throttle HTML rendering at Html_write or similar place.
Low priority
<thead>, <tfoot> and others. New size model. Image backgrounds. Graphical plugins framework. GUI dpi for downloads.
